Del Mar College Jazz Band Performing at the 65th Annual Texas Jazz Festival

Corpus Christi’s annual Jazz Festival is one of the most anticipated music events of the year with fans of the genre coming from across the Coastal Bend, the state and from around the globe. A Texas Jazz Festival mainstay, Del Mar College’s Jazz Band will perform under the direction of DMC Music faculty member, Dr. Abel Ramirez. The ensemble is excited to welcome guest soloist Lalo Davila, Director of Percussion Studies at Middle Tennessee State University, on timbales and DMC Music faculty member Neil Sisauyhoat on congas, along with other soloists!  The band will perform Big Band and Latin Jazz music during their performance.  For Texas Jazz Festival information and scheduling, visit their website at Texas Jazz Festival
